What makes Legend Seeds different?
Nuseed wanted to partner with a leading company to be their boots on the ground sales force in sunflowers. Legend Seeds provided not only an excellent sales force with a well-rounded package of products for their customers but also agronomic support through their LEAP and Knowledge plots, educational trainings and Farmacology.

Experience:
Growing up in Southeastern MN I wanted to follow my Grandparents path into Agriculture for my career. I ventured up to the University of MN, Crookston where I could be hours away from home yet still get a degree from the University of MN with small class sizes. In 2006 I got my BS in Agricultural Business with a minor in Agronomy. I had some awesome summer jobs while in college including an internship with CHS and working for the MN Crop Improvement Association. After college I spent 5 years with CHS in Eureka, SD as a Sales Agronomist. It was during this time that I developed a passion for the sunflower industry. I then left the workforce to work on my Master’s Degree with NDSU in Plant Breeding. I was a research assistant with the USDA during this time and focused my research on Genotype by Environment Interaction in Sunflowers for the Northern Plains. This lead me to a career with Nuseed. I was (and still am) so excited to be a part of a team that is solely focused on sunflowers and not distracted by other major crops such as corn and soybeans.
