Graphic Design Specialist

Job Description

The Graphic Design Specialist’s role will focus on bringing the Legend Seeds and YieldMaster Solution’s (YMS) brand to the next level through a cohesive brand presence as well as maintain professional brand standards through the creation of traditional and digital marketing assets for both Legend and YMS. This position will provide integral support to the marketing team, field sales teams, and dealer/distributor networks.

Core initiatives within this role will focus on delivering consistent and effective designs across a variety of media to elevate and promote the Legend and YMS brands as well as voice. The employee holding this position should be experienced in delivering creative ideas and following through to content creation and distribution.

• Assist in the evolution and ongoing development of the Legend/YMS brand story, core values, and culture elements internally and externally.
• Produce creative and innovative graphic designs using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, Acrobat, MS Office, and other appropriate mediums.
• Maintain brand standards and internal filing of graphic assets for Legend/YMS marketing team.
• Aid in development of compelling copy for various creative resources, including marketing materials, advertisements, website content, and social media posts, to effectively communicate the brand's message and engage the target audience.
• Prepare artwork for commercial print, ensuring they are print-ready and meet printer specifications.
• Translate concepts into variable design concepts.
• Retouch images to improve quality where appropriate.
• Assist with photoshoots and video shoots as required.
• Work closely with the Legend/YMS team to develop and execute an annual media plan and determine go-to-market strategy to bring new experiences/helpful information to our customer base through photos, videos, digital, and printed materials.
• Research and keep abreast of emerging design trends and practices.
• Coordinate production timelines for Legend/YMS marketing publications, ad sets, postcards, handouts, direct mailers, etc.
• Communicate with team members and external vendors throughout workflow.

Qualifications

• Background or experience in agriculture.
• Background or experience in graphic design or advertising preferred.
• Experience working in a team setting and collaborating across departments.
• Communication: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong experience working in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign & Photoshop) preferred.
• Experience in social media platforms, and content creation preferred.
• Experience in digital ad campaigns preferred.
• Experience working in Canva preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) required.
• Must demonstrate ability to plan, coordinate, and follow through on timelines.
• Must demonstrate creative capabilities to bring new concepts and ideas to the table that support the growth and development of the Legend/YMS brands and sales growth.
• High level of fiscal responsibility.
• Highly organized: Many topics and content will overlap throughout the duration of the year. This individual must have the ability to stay focused and organized.
• Willingness to travel as needed for events and meetings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position, typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional earlier start times, evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

• 10% travel is expected for this position.
